Norwegian expands its routes despite troubles

Norwegian has announced its new services between Oslo and Puerto Rico’s San Juan in the Caribbean. These services which will be operated using the Norwegian Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner are said to run once per week and will commence on November 1. All these flights are scheduled on Sundays. The services are said to benefit travellers who have scheduled their flights from or vial Copenhagen, Denmark (C PH) as well as Stockholm, Sweden (ARN). Flights from Stockholm will be affected from 3rd November while flights from Copenhagen will be effected from 6th November. Passengers from London Gatwick will be offered two flights per week with services kicking off from November 4. Departure time for these flights will be Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Flights are also scheduled to St. Croix in the virgins islands of the US. This is another popular region well known for cruise tourists. These flights will be offered on Mondays every week departing from Copenhagen. Officials in the transportation department of the US are yet to make a decision whether to offer the carrier rights to have their flights to and from there. Passengers from Gatwick will also have their flights departing on Fridays as from November 9.

Other passengers using the Stockholm route will be able to take their flights every Saturday, effective from October 31. It is expected that the new Danish airport will be used by the norwegian’s flights to Las Vegas. This will be effective from November 10 with flight services offered every Tuesday, once a week. Also in the schedule are the Los Angeles flight services which will be oofered to London and Oslo. This is scheduled to commence later in the year.

As Gatwick secures three flights per week in the winter season, year-round departures have been scheduled from Gardermoen.
