Laudamotion has Launched Route from Vienna to London Stansted

Austrian low-cost airline launched a new route between Vienna and London Stansted.

The airline has said flights will commence from October 28th and there will be two flights per day. Flights will depart the UK at 08.30 and 19.55.

Laudamotion will use the Airbus A320 or an A321 for the route and tickets will begin selling at €14.99 (one-way).

Mark Souter, Stanstead head of aviation business development, said: “We’re delighted that Laudamotion becomes the latest airline to join us at London Stanstead, offering more choice to our passengers as we continue to grow.

“With extremely competitive fares, and flights twice a day, this new service to Vienna will no doubt be very popular with passengers from across the region.”

Laudamotion managing director Andreas Gruber said: “Our routes work because we have the right offer for price-sensitive customers. In particular, with our new city shuttle routes, I’m sure we will help to boost visitor numbers with our new non-stop service to and from Vienna.”

Laudamation was founded by Formula 1 driver Niki Lauda. The airline is expected to serve more than 5 million passengers in 2019.

Currently, Laudamotion fleet flies under the code OE and consists of 19 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft flying from Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Vienna is ranked as the most livable city in the world according to the worldwide league table.

The survey was released in August of this year and ranked 140 cities based on political and social stability, crime, education and access to healthcare.
