Getting a London airport taxi is one way of making the trip into the city centre (or making a transfer between any one of the airports that serve the city), but there are naturally several other options. The Tube can be convenient if you're travelling to or from Heathrow and there is a station near the other end of your journey, but that leaves out an awful lot of London and not all the London airports have tube stations. Getting onto and off the tube with a generous suitcase is also not that easy- hauling a big bag up one of the huge escalators that rise up from the deeper underground stations is not an activity for the faint of heart.
If you need to get from Heathrow Airport to Cambridge or another major town, buses are a possibility, but often this feels like adding a whole new leg onto a journey that might already be tiring. That goes double if you'll have to find transport from a Cambridge bus station to your home or final destination for the day. The bus services, while perfectly adequate in most cases, often take in several stops on a single journey. As a result they are often not the quickest way to get around either.
By contrast, a Heathrow airport taxi can take you exactly where you need to go and what's more, they can do it quickly, courteously, and with a minimum waiting time. The fare schedule is easy to understand and with our service, you can book the right taxi in advance so it'll be ready and waiting when you step off the plane.
