Uber’s new rival Miwhip has promised a surprise car for its app users. The app company has promised to allocate one of its supercars to every 100th journey booked through the app for no extra charges.
The company has invested £1.5 million in gold wrapped super cars since securing an operating license in London last month.
App users could be picked by any of the following models Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 488, Rolls Royce Ghost II, Mercedes G Wagon and Mclaren 720s, which is an upgrade from the usual Toyota Prius minicab.
Director and co-owner Nohman Ahmed said: “The app will never say the make of the car coming to pick you up, we want the open mouthed reaction when you see it come round the corner and it is a supercar. Who says a minicab has to be a certain make or a certain vehicle?”
